Dear Mr.Z

How are you?

Wakcher: I hereby declare that your recent award for writing in the so-called 2008 Webcomic Readers Choice Awards is nothing more than an opprobrious monument to the fallaciousness of mob rule. Worse than your unwarranted acceptance of this 'honor' was the self-aggrandizing press release that soon followed: 'Circle Versus Square Wins 2008. Visual Reinforcer for students with Autism. This reinforcer can be laminated and taped to a student's desk. There is room above the Good and Sad Note to the behaviors you would like to track. With one of my students I have written in Dry Erase Marker, 'Not Working' above Sad Note and 'Working' abo.

Note

I wanted to say how deeply thankful I am to meet you and learn from you. Thanks to you I learn to observe the inner workings of myself and reflect the past of my upbringing.

Being the mother and the father of myself, being aware of the fear and guilt aimed back to me, and really admitting my feelings and so on. I think the foundation of those changes really started with the genuine relationship with myself. Indeed it is a lifelong journey of observation that keeps challenging and changing. One more thing I also encountered is that the more I learn/like about myself as a flexible and imperfect being, the more I get to see my parents reflection inside me, and nurture more empathy and flexibility. However in relationship with people, I found it hard to congruently execute my actions. I guess it’s just ongoing process of exercising and embracing the imperfectness.

After June, I went to San Francisco for 3 months and came back with the written thesis and the business equipped experience. The time there was harshy and during the time one of my friend in Berlin had passed away. The book you recommended, The power of now was helpful. After coming back in Berlin, things were much better and I continue getting counseling at K-center. Currently in order to fulfil my want to learn more in psychology, I am organizing Psychology study meetup in Berlin and trying to look for a job in a related field.

The year 2014 was the turning point thanks to your guidance. In 2015, I hope to be more present and let go of the past. I wish you all the best for the upcoming year.

Merry Christmas.
